Belle read me letters from readers of People magazine. People wrote in about Jennifer Aniston. Ouch. My brain. Oh the things people said. Desperate to worship something, they worship someone. And worship they do. Outlandish praise. Unreasonable offerings. Of course the celebrity is not worth all of it--if any of it. Perhaps the people are worshipping celebrity as much as the celebrity. Oh fame, how I love thee.
